Council of University Librarians Prioritizes NGTS2 Recommendations

The reports from the Phase 2 NGTS groups have been reviewed by the Council of University Librarians (CoUL), with input from the Systemwide Operations and Planning Group (SOPAG), and the All Campus Groups (ACGs). The attached document, "Next Generation Technical Services - Next Steps", [PDF] was developed by the NGTS Executive Team in consultation with the NGTS Steering Team and the NGTS Resource Teams.  The actions are based on issues identified in the Phase One reports from the NGTS Resource Teams (see below).

This document was endorsed for action by the University Librarians on 24 February 2010.

The NGTS Exec Team, Steering Team, Resource Team chairs, and a liaison from SOPAG will meet on 12 March to develop the specific charges and composition for the task groups noted in the actions for each recommendation.  Next steps for the original Resource Teams will be reviewed at that time.
